Hélène König is a French artist working from the Northern Rivers. Built up in plaster and acrylic on raw plywood, her new works unfold intuitively — layered accumulations of gesture and restraint, almost like fragments of play or memory. Presented exclusively for the first time as part of En Plein Air, this body of work marks a new direction within her practice; moving toward lightness, while retaining her signature depth.
